Photography on Sunday

Only one link today:

For a couple of years now I have been visiting and enjoying the website, Brain Pickings. It’s a great place to visit on a slow day, a Sunday perhaps, when you can settle down with some excellent, inspirational and thoughtful reading. She describes her website as a:

”…one-woman labor of love — a subjective lens on what matters in the world and why. Mostly, it’s a record of my own becoming as a person — intellectually, creatively, spiritually — and an inquiry into how to live and what it means to lead a good life.”

One subject that Ms. Popova returns to over and over again is the subject of photography, so we can assume this matters to her. I invite you to spend some time visiting her site and exploring her inquiries, which are not always comfortable but always stimulating. I have done the heavy lifting for you: just click right here: Brain Pickings Does Photography, and you will be well on your way. Please note that you can scroll down to see further articles, and then, at the bottom, you can move on to the next pages in the “Photography” thread.
